Our Cold Air Intake Heat Shield reflects up to 90% of radiant heat from engine components, helping to significantly reduce intake air temperatures. Most cold air intake systems—especially aftermarket aluminum or plastic setups—lack thermal insulation, allowing hot engine bay air to heat the intake system and reduce performance. This shield acts as a thermal barrier, keeping intake air cooler and protecting the system from heat soak. Compatible with OEM and aftermarket intakes, it helps maintain more consistent power delivery, especially in stop-and-go traffic or under heavy load.
