Motor Mount Heat Shields for Extreme Engine Bays

Designed for the harshest engine bay conditions, Lava® or Stealth® Motor Mount Shields install in minutes—often without removing the mount. Most modern OEM motor mounts use rubber with an internal liquid-filled bladder to reduce engine and drivetrain vibrations. Over time, heat exposure causes these mounts to deteriorate and rupture, leading to excessive vibration, driveline damage, and a harsh ride.

Lava and Stealth Motor Mount Shields wrap around both OEM and aftermarket motor mounts, creating a powerful thermal and sound barrier that protects against extreme engine and exhaust heat. Made from volcanic rock fiber, these shields are ideal for both street and race applications, helping high-horsepower engines maintain comfort and performance. Rated for continuous temps up to 1200°F, they’re also resistant to water, chemicals, and acid, ensuring long-term durability in any environment.
