db Defender – High-Performance Door Panel Sound Deadening Material

db Defender is a lightweight, flexible sound deadening material designed for automotive door panels. Made from a proprietary vinyl blend, it stretches up to 40% to conform tightly to uneven surfaces. It delivers 2× the sound dampening with less than half the weight of asphalt-based mats. Withstands up to 250°F—ideal for daily drivers and high-performance builds. The db Shield Defender layer reduces structural resonance by converting vibration into low-level heat. Blocks airborne sound and speaker back wave to eliminate acoustic short circuits. Replaces thin factory insulation for better audio clarity and reduced road noise. Improves ride comfort while boosting sound system performance.
