This durable heat shield deflects over 90% of radiant heat using a ¼-inch BioCool thermal barrier. BioCool insulation is non-flammable, non-toxic, and won’t itch during installation. Stainless steel mesh reinforcement helps it withstand 1,100°F radiant and 500°F direct contact heat. Use it on air boxes, electrical boxes, A/C units, converters, mufflers, and floorpans. Install easily with Thermal-Ties, safety wire, screws, or rivets.

No, Thermaflect Shield is a radiant heat barrier it is engineered to shield heat that is 1″ away from the shield.
Why don’t you recommend a high temperature spray adhesive for Thermaflect Shield?
Thermaflect Shield reduces heat to levels that are safely within the temperature limits of 3M’s Super 77 or Super Trim adhesive spray, ensuring secure and long-lasting adhesion.
