MantleFlect Shield – Fireplace Heat Protection for Mantles, TVs & More

The MantleFlect Shield is designed to protect fireplace mantles, TVs, sound bars, and surrounding surfaces from excessive radiant heat. It reflects and dissipates heat rising from your fireplace, helping prevent cracking, warping, or premature failure of nearby electronics and finishes. With modern setups often placing TVs above fireplaces, this shield adds essential protection where it matters most.

DIY-Friendly Installation

MantleFlect is easy to cut with scissors or a utility knife, and each kit includes edging tape for a clean finish. The adhesive backing sticks securely to any clean, smooth surface for long-lasting protection.

Custom Color Options

You can paint the MantleFlect Shield with any aluminum-compatible paint. However, painting will reduce its heat reflectivity (from 90% down to 50–40%), though the built-in Kool Core insulation will still provide thermal protection.

FAQ

Can you install the MantleFlect directly on TV?

Yes you can! You must be careful to not cover and vents that might be on the TV. This allows the internal electronics to breathe. Covering and solid portions of the TV case is fine.
