Heavy-Duty Heat Barrier for Extreme Conditions

HD Sticky Shield is a high-performance adhesive heat shield engineered for Tier 4 vehicles, trucks, and heavy-duty equipment. Built with a 1/8” fiberglass core and 0.003” aluminum top layer, it reflects radiant heat while resisting weather, dirt, and harsh conditions.

Reliable Performance and Easy Installation

Tested to handle 1100°F continuous and 2000°F intermittent temps, it reflects up to 90% of radiant heat with just 1″ of air gap. Install under floor pans, firewalls, or transmission tunnels—simply degrease the surface and apply. Works even in tighter spaces with slightly reduced performance.

Secure, Long-Lasting Fit

For a sealed, pressure-wash-safe installation, use HD Foil Shield Tape to cover seams and edges. Not recommended for use under carpet or on raw fiberglass/carbon surfaces.

FAQ

Do I need tin snips to cut HP Sticky Shield

No, Sticky Shield is best cut using heavy-duty scissors or a utility knife. Tin snips are not recommended, as they can have trouble cutting through the insulation layer.

Why don’t you recommend HP Sticky Shield for rough unfinished fiberglass or carbon?

Self-adhesive backings don’t bond well to rough or uneven surfaces, as they can’t fill small gaps or indentations. For better adhesion on unfinished or textured areas, spray adhesives are a more effective option.

Can I attach HP Sticky Shield with screws?

Yes, you can. It’s fine to use screws or rivets along with the adhesive. Just be sure to use a large-head rivet or a fender washer for better hold.
