Old-School Tough, Customizable, and Built to Take the Heat
Inferno® Shield is a flexible, multi-layer radiant heat shield designed to protect sensitive components from exhaust and engine heat. Reflective aluminum or stainless steel outer layers work with a high-temperature silica-based insulation core to help reduce heat transfer.
Temperature Ratings: Aluminum version rated to 900°F continuous; 321 stainless steel version rated to 1,800°F continuous.

Inferno® Shield is a flexible, multi-layer radiant heat shield that helps protect sensitive components from intense exhaust and engine heat. Reflective aluminum or 321 stainless steel outer layers work with a high-temperature silica-based insulation core to reflect radiant heat and slow heat transfer.
The aluminum version handles up to 900°F continuous, while the 321 stainless steel version handles up to 1,800°F continuous for more severe heat.
Its semi-rigid construction bends, shapes, and holds its form, making it ideal where a flat or rigid exhaust heat shield will not fit. You can trim and resize Inferno Shield, then fold the outer metal back over the insulation for a clean finished edge.
Use Inferno Shield around exhaust pipes, mufflers, catalytic converters, DPFs, airboxes, oil pans, transmission tunnels, floors, firewalls, wiring, hoses, and other heat-sensitive components. Install it with HP Power Anchors, locking ties, screws, or hose clamps.
Inferno Shield works well around exhaust pipes, mufflers, catalytic converters, DPFs, airboxes, oil pans, transmission tunnels, floors, firewalls, wiring, hoses, and other heat-sensitive components. Its flexible, semi-rigid construction lets you shape it around tight or irregular areas.
Install Inferno Shield with HP Power Anchors, stainless steel locking ties, screws, hose clamps, or other suitable mechanical fasteners. Position the shield between the heat source and the component you want to protect, then shape it to fit the available space.
Yes. Unfold the finished edge, trim the internal insulation to the desired size, then cut the outer metal layer about 3/4 inch larger than the insulation. Fold the metal back over the insulation to recreate a clean finished edge.
The aluminum version handles temperatures up to 900°F continuous and works well for moderate-temperature applications. The 321 stainless steel version handles temperatures up to 1,800°F continuous, making it the better choice for more severe exhaust heat.
