Deck Armor Fire Pit Heat Shield
Deck Armor™ by Heatshield Products is a durable fire pit heat shield designed to help protect decks, patios, grass, and other outdoor surfaces from excessive radiant heat.
Its multi-layer construction features our proprietary Lava Shield™, made from crushed volcanic rock. This layer helps reflect radiant heat away from the surface below while also resisting UV exposure, chemicals, and flame. A silicone-coated fiberglass base adds strength and durability without staining the protected surface.
Deck Armor™ works well under portable fire pits, BBQs, smokers, and other outdoor heat sources where additional thermal protection is needed. Its rugged construction makes it suitable for repeated outdoor use, while the lightweight design allows for easy placement and storage.
For best performance, position Deck Armor™ so it extends beyond the footprint of the fire pit or heat source. Always follow the equipment manufacturer’s clearance requirements.
Maintain a minimum 1-inch air gap between Deck Armor™ and the hot metal surface. Do not place Deck Armor™ in direct contact with hot metal.
