Commercial Grade Strength

Oven heat shields can keep your refrigerator working more efficiently and protect cabinets from excessive heat. The Kitchen Sticky Shield is suited for both home use and commercial applications. We have taken the technology from the race track right into your kitchen! Capable of handling temperatures far higher than what and oven can create, this stick-on heat shield can be used to stop heat radiating into your refrigerator, cabinets, or walls. In older homes or tight quarters in commercial kitchens.

Redirect Heat, Save Energy

It is often necessary to have an oven or stove top right next to the refrigerator in smaller home kitchens. In some restaurant kitchens, the gas cook top or griddle sits directly above a cooler. This oven heat shield heat shield protects the refrigerator by reflecting the radiant heat away. The Kitchen Sticky Shield can help reduce power consumption and help keep your refrigerator cool! This heat shield can reflect over 90 percent of radiant heat – drastically improving the performance and efficiency of your refrigerator or work top cooler.

Maintenance is as Easy As Mild Dish Soap

Another great feature of the Kitchen Sticky Shield – it can be cleaned. Featuring a rugged aluminum layer, this commercial grade heat shield is water, grease, and cleaning solution resistant. The real star of the show is our exclusive Kool Core technology. It is a dense fiberglass insulation that does not have the health hazards of polyester/fiberglass combinations and enables this shield to reflect more heat.

Professional Grade Simple Install

Kitchen Sticky Shield cuts easily with a pair of scissors or utility knife. Allowing you to custom fit it to your application. For dry wall and wood cabinet applications we do recommend it goes on clean and dust free surface and we recommend using screws for additional insurance. The Kitchen Sticky Shield kit includes edging tape allows you to seal the edges or any seams where you might put two pieces of it together.

FAQ

Why can’t I just order another one of your heat shield fabrics you make for my oven?

We don’t recommend using any fibrous materials near food prep areas. While our insulation doesn’t contain respirable fibers, loose strands can still be a nuisance—no one wants that near their food. The shield uses a dense, foam-like fiberglass core for effective heat protection. Each kit includes edging tape, which should always be applied to seal any edges or seams and help keep fibers contained.

What do I use to remove the kitchen heat shield if I make any changes in the future?

Using a new sharp razor blade or utility knife, gently score the paper on the back side avoiding cutting the adhesive.  Once the paper is cut you can easily slide your razor blade or utility knife under your paper then gentle peel up the paper. You can also watch this VIDEO.

Can I use the oven heat shield on drywall?

Yes, it can be installed on drywall. Be sure to remove all dust and debris from the surface before applying for the best adhesion. For added security, we also recommend using drywall screws to help hold the shield in place.

I do not want to use the adhesive backing can I install with it on, and just screw the shield into place?

Yes you can screw the kitchen heat shield into place. If you do not wish to use the adhesive backing, we strongly recommend you remove both the backing paper and the adhesive from the shield first, then screw into place.
