Kitchen Sticky™ Shield is a high-performance kitchen heat shield designed to help protect refrigerators, cabinets, drywall, and nearby surfaces from excessive radiant heat. It works well in both residential and commercial kitchens where appliances and heat-sensitive surfaces are positioned close together.
Built using technology developed for demanding automotive applications, Kitchen Sticky™ Shield can handle temperatures far beyond those typically produced by household ovens and cooktops. Its reflective surface redirects radiant heat away from nearby surfaces, while the insulating core helps reduce heat transfer.

At the core of the shield is our exclusive Kool Core insulation. This dense fiberglass layer helps reduce heat transfer while providing durable thermal protection for demanding kitchen applications.
Professional-Grade, Simple Installation
Kitchen Sticky™ Shield cuts easily with scissors or a utility knife, allowing you to trim it to fit your application.
For drywall and wood cabinet installations, apply the shield to a clean, dry, dust-free surface. We also recommend using mechanical fasteners, such as screws, for added security when appropriate.
Each Kitchen Sticky™ Shield kit includes edging tape to help finish exposed edges and seal seams when multiple pieces are installed together.

FAQ
Why can’t I just order another one of your heat shield fabrics you make for my oven?
We don’t recommend using any fibrous materials near food prep areas. While our insulation doesn’t contain respirable fibers, loose strands can still be a nuisance—no one wants that near their food. The shield uses a dense, foam-like fiberglass core for effective heat protection. Each kit includes edging tape, which should always be applied to seal any edges or seams and help keep fibers contained.
Can this shield be painted to match the fridge?
It is not recommended you paint this shield. The reflectivity of the aluminum is doing a lot of the work to stop heat. By painting the surface, you will reduce the effectiveness of the heat shield.
How do I remove the paper backing off of the shield?
Using a new sharp razor blade or utility knife, gently score the paper on the back side avoiding cutting the adhesive. Once the paper is cut you can easily slide your razor blade or utility knife under your paper then gentle peel up the paper. You can also watch this VIDEO.
I do not want to use the adhesive backing can I install with it on, and just screw the shield into place?
Yes you can screw the kitchen heat shield into place. If you do not wish to use the adhesive backing, we strongly recommend you remove both the backing paper and the adhesive from the shield first, then screw into place.
